Anne-Nelly Perret-Clermont‘s goal is to contribute to the understanding of the network of individual, collective and material interactions that offer safe spaces for thinking.
At the heart of her research, she pays particular attention to the observation of the social, emotional, and cultural events that support cognitive development, knowledge transmission and the learning of new skills in children and adults.
She is convinced that “thinking” is an important multidimensional activity and that it is vital to safeguard it in daily life as well as in professional settings. It starts in families, schools and peer groups, but needs life-long support to meet the challenges of present times. It has to be enjoyable.
Her publications, collected on this website, also bear witness to her ongoing collaboration with numerous individuals, colleagues, and partners.
